Confession Scriptures to Declare Over Your Life

Confess the below scriptures over any area of your life.  You can also use the below scriptures as personal prayers to God.  To make the scriptures more personal to you, you can even change any applicable scripture to “first-person”.  When we pray God’s word, we are praying in line with His will.  God always answers prayers that are in line with His will.


Confession Scriptures to Declare Over Your Life - Health and Healing


Isaiah 58:8

Then your light will break forth like the dawn, and your healing will quickly appear; then your righteousness will go before you, and the glory of the Lord will be your rear guard.


Jeremiah 33:6

Nevertheless, I will bring health and healing to it; I will heal my people and will let them enjoy abundant peace and security


Malachi 4:2

But for you who revere my name, the sun of righteousness will rise with healing in its rays.  And you will go out and frolic like well-fed calves.


Matthew 4:23

Jesus went throughout Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, proclaiming the good news of the kingdom, and healing every disease and sickness among the people.


Luke 6:19

And the people all tried to touch him (Jesus), because power was coming from him and healing them all.


Acts 10:38

How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and power, and how he went around doing good and healing all who were under the power of the devil, because God was with him.


Psalm 30-2

Lord my God, I called to you for help, and you healed me.

James 5:14-15

Is anyone among you sick?  Let them call the elders of the church to pray over them and anoint them with oil in the name of the Lord.  And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise them up.  If they have sinned, they will be forgiven.


1 Peter 2:24

“He himself bore our sins’ in his body on the cross, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; “by his wounds you have been healed.”


3 John 2

Dear friend, I pray that you may enjoy good health and that all may go well with you, even as your soul is getting along well.

Psalm 25:5

Guide me in your truth and teach me, for you are God my Savior, and my hope is in you all day long.


Psalm 25:21

May integrity and uprightness protect me, because my hope, Lord, is in you.

Be strong and take heart, all you who hope in the Lord


Psalm 33:18

But the eyes of the Lord are on those who fear him, on those whose hope is in his unfailing love.


Psalm 33:20

We wait in hope for the Lord; he is our help and our shield.

Psalm 37:34

Deuteronomy 5:33

Matthew 14:31

Then he said to Thomas, “put your finger here; see my hands.  Reach out your hand and put it into my side.  Stop doubting and believe.”

Psalm 4:8

In peace I will lie down and sleep, for you alone, Lord, make me dwell in safety.

The Lord gives strength to his people; the Lord blesses his people with peace.


Psalm 34:14

Turn from evil and do good; seek peace and pursue it.


Psalm 85:8

I will listen to what God the Lord says; he promises peace to his people, his faithful servants — but let them not turn to folly.


Psalm 119:165

Great peace have those who love your law, and nothing can make them stumble.


Philippians 4:7

And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

Deuteronomy 4:29

Ephesians 4:31

Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice.


Colossians 3:8

James 1:19-20

My dear brothers and sisters, take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to become angry, because human anger does not produce the righteousness that God desires.

Genesis 2:18

The Lord God said, “it is not good for the man to be alone.  I will make a helper suitable for him.”


Isaiah 34:16

Look in the scroll of the Lord and read: None of these will be missing, not one will lack her mate.  For it is his mouth that has given the order, and his Spirit will gather them together.


Genesis 2:24

That is why a man leaves his father and mother and is united to his wife, and they become one flesh.


Proverbs 5:18

May your fountain be blessed, and may you rejoice in the wife of your youth.


Proverbs 18:22

He who finds a wife finds what is good and receives favor from the Lord.
